The immense grandstands of Mos Espa Arena are cradled within a natural canyon amphitheater on the edge of the Western Dune Sea. Awnings give shade to some bettors on the front box where they can conveniently seek refreshments inside the arena cantina directly under Jabba's royal box. The pit hangar service podracers crammed with their own pit crews and teams. The family and friends of some privileged racers watch the race from the viewing towers built in various areas inside the grand arena. Throughout the Mos Espa speedway, checkpoint towers are manned to observe and report the progresss of the race to the viewers at the Grand Arena.
